Barbara Kay Campos, 63, of McPherson, passed away Aug. 18, 2017, at Bethany Home in Lindsborg. She was a certified nursing assistant and had worked at The Cedars in McPherson for over 30 years.

She was born on May 2, 1954, in Arkansas, the daughter of Samuel and Dorothy Mabe. Formerly of Lyons, she had been a McPherson resident for over 40 years.

On Aug. 14, 1995, Barbara was united in marriage to John Campos in Lyons. He survives.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Lisa Shapiro (Jeremy) of Victoria, Texas; Amanda Lucero of McPherson, and Leslie Lucero of McPherson; a son, Jeremiah Lucero (Maxine) of Lindsborg; brothers, Larry Mabe and Bobby Mabe, both of Arkansas; and three grandsons, Logan Shapiro, Otto Dennett, and Jace Lucero.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28 at Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, McPherson.
