Several Tiger's teams were in action over the holiday weekend.

The Central Christian College of Kansas men's soccer team got their first win of the young season in a 9-0 win over Ozark Christian College Saturday. Josh Taylor and Gabrielle Flores each picked up the hat-trick, scoring three goals each. Next up for the Tigers is a home match Tuesday against Randall University with kick off slated for 7 p.m.

The CCC women's soccer team wrapped up the weekend with a 6-0 loss to Dordt College Saturday. The Defenders scored five goals in the first half against the Tigers and totally dominated them on the stat sheet, out shooting Central 23-6 and 18-2 in shots on goal. The Tigers drop to 1-2 on the season and are on the road Tuesday in Shawnee, Oklahoma as they face NCAA D2 opponent Oklahoma Baptist University. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.

Central's volleyball salvaged a win over the weekend against three losses to run their record to 2-3. They lost Friday to Sterling College 3-0 (25-18, 25-12, 25-22) and Bethel College 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-20). On Saturday they defeated Baptist Bible College 3-0 (25-9, 25-13, 25-15) before dropping their final match 3-0 (25-11, 25-12, 25-13) to Presentation College. CCC will get a few days rest before opening up Sooner Athletic Conference play Thursday as the host Southwestern Christian University. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. in the Dr. Jerry Alexander Arena.
