The week of Sept. 11-16, Little River High School will be celebrating Fall Homecoming. The queen candidates are Melanie Renken, Tessalyn Walton and Shannon Hudson. The king candidates are Peyton Harvey, Levi Swenson and Keith Briscoe.

Throughout the week junior high and high school students will be asked to dress in the following themes: Twin Day on Tuesday, Pajama Day on Wednesday, Throwback Day, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s attire, on Thursday and Red/Black/Redskin Day on Friday.

Prizes will be awarded at the community pep rally for the best dressed on each day.

The community is invited to a bonfire in the south parking lot of the high school on Sept. 14 following the home junior high football game. On Sept. 15, there will be a parade starting at the high school at 2:50 p.m. and ending at the football field. The community pep rally will begin at 3 p.m.

The homecoming ceremony will begin at 6:40 p.m. at the football field that evening followed by the Redskins taking on the Wakefield Bombers at 7 p.m.

On Sept. 16, the Student Council will sponsor a dance in the commons area for all high school students. Admission will be $3 for an individual or $5 for a couple.
