All proceeds go back to Turkey Creek Golf Course

The Turkey Creek Golf Course held its second annual Create a Legacy tournament Saturday and raised $2,932 to help for public lands and facilities in the city of McPherson. All money raised goes back to Turkey Creek Golf Course, who is trying to raise enough money to take care of more erosion issues.

Fourteen teams participated in the tournament with the team of Tony Schmidt, Caleb Schmidt, Scott Graham and Travis Burch winning with a 51. Second place went to Cliff Hawkes, Jamie Piper, Mark Wash and Dave Lackey who shot a 52.

Second flight winners were Ryan Schmid, Chad Alexander, Andy Hett and Dan Potter whose team shot a 59. The team of Dennis Shaw, Gordan Reimer, Kevin McKean and Rich Penner finished second in second flight with a 60.
