KANSAS STATE FAIR: Each day during the Fair, visitors can experience a taste of the explosive science typically only seen at the Cosmosphere by visiting the Dr. Goddard’s lab at the fairgrounds. Shows take place at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. in the west end of the “Do Art” building at the corner of Lake Talbott Avenue and Bison Boulevard.

— COFFEE AT THE COSMO: On Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., enjoy a presentation on the “Other Father of Modern Rocketry”. This continuing education program is free to the public and coffee and pastries are provided.
— MUSEUM DAY LIVE: On Saturday September 23, the Cosmosphere will participate in the 13th annual Museum Day Live! This event allows participating Smithsonian-affiliated museums across the country to offer free admission to museum-goers. A Museum Day Live! Tickets are available for download at: Smithsonian.com/museumday. Visitors who present this ticket (either printed hard copy or on a mobile device) will gain free entrance to the Hall of Space Museum for two people. — COSMO CAFÉ CLOSED: The Cosmo Café is currently closed for renovations, with plans to open the new space in November. During the renovations, the concession stand in the Carey Digital Dome Theater Lobby will serve refreshments and snacks.
