Time to pack the Roundhouse for a great cause!
McPherson High School’s home volleyball triangular Tuesday night will be extra special, as the Bullpups will also be hosting Childhood Cancer Awareness Night. The Bullpups will partner with Women and Children Combating Cancer to raise funds in honor of seventh graders Kaiden Schroeder and Ike Bauers, local McPherson Middle School students who are currently battling childhood cancer.
McPherson High School will donate half of all gate fees taken that night and several local businesses will match those donations. Fans are encouraged to wear their “Strikeout Cancer” or other cancer awareness shirts to the game. WACCC will also be selling shirts as a fundraiser at a table in the Activity Center to support Ike and Kaiden.
The first match begins at 5 p.m. and fans are encouraged to pack the Roundhouse in honor of Kaiden, Ike, their families, and all those battling childhood cancer.
