This Program offers an opportunity to meet your local Law Enforcement Officers
Officers of the McPherson Police Department, McPherson County Sheriff’s Office, and troopers from the Kansas Highway Patrol would like to come together with community members in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee together.
All community members are invited to attend from 8 to 10 a.m. on Oct. 4 at Perkins Restaurant, 2111 E. Kansas Ave. in McPherson.
If you have any questions, please contact Executive Sergeant/Public Information Officer Mark Brinck by phone at 620-245-1206 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
National Coffee with a Cop day is a day dedicated to encourage communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public. The day began as part of National Community Policing Week in 2016 and now continues each year on the first Wednesday in October furthering efforts nationwide to bridge the gap between the community and the law.
This program aims to advance the practice of Community Policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time.
