The Monitor Family and Community Education unit met Sept. 18 at The Cedars North Down Under room. Six members were present.
Judy Hunt gave the lesson “Bone Breaking Facts.” The lesson gave information on osteoporosis, its causes, who is at risk and prevention.
Rhonda Toews-Moore gave the lesson “Spend Some, Save Some, Share Some” on family budgeting.
Dues were collected and members voted to talk with others about joining an FCE unit. The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at Lois Neher’s home.
