WILSON — The Fall Extravaganza — Art and Fashion will kick off Oct. 14 in Wilson.

Oil paintings by the late George Eschbaugh will be on display in his historic sandstone studio at 3945 205th Road, Wilson, beginning at 4 p.m. on Oct. 14.

At 6 p.m., local models will show off fall fashions from Classy Lady Boutique, Ellsworth. Background music will be provided by Jim Lawson of Wilson on keyboard, and RoJean Loucks of Lindsborg on harp.

Throughout the evening, Smoky Hill Vineyards and Winery will provide wine tasting; Carr Creek Beef Jerky, Lazy J Llama Sausage, and a variety of dips, jellies, salsas and other Kansas grown foods from the Kansas Originals Market will be among the array of hors d'oeuvres.

Following the style show, a live auction will be held, consisting of original paintings by George Eschbaugh, Wanda Haney, and Randy Clark.

Throughout the evening, guests may bid on silent auction items featuring baskets of Kansas-made art, crafts and food products.

This event is a fundraiser supporting the mission of the Post Rock Opportunities Foundation; promoting Kansas artists, craftsmen and food producers, providing outlets for their creative work and strengthening the economy of the region by creating employment and increasing tourism.
