Rains holds off for cross country meet.
STERLING — The Inman High School cross country team competed at the Sterling Invitational on Thursday with Nicholas Martisko finishing in fifth place in varsity boys and Tia Cole finishing 12th in JV girls, as she ran a personal best. Inman did not have enough participants to register in the team scores.
"The numbers were short for out team due to other activities and injuries but everyone who did run ran well and was competitive," said Inman coach Jay Parsons. "It was also nice to see the rain hold off though the wind blew and the temperature was cool."
Next week the teams will run in the Heart of American League meet hosted by Hutchinson Trinity Catholic on Tuesday.
