Matt is 33-11 while Gallagher is 27-17.

Get ready McPherson Sentinel readers. You all are about to witness one of the greatest comebacks in college pick ‘em history. Nearly everything went right for Matt, while everything did go wrong for Gallagher in Week 6. As a result, Matt now has a six-game lead over Gallagher entering Week 7. The Big 12 now seems more up for grabs than ever with Oklahoma’s shocking loss to Iowa State. TCU solidified itself as the front-runner with a narrow win over West Virginia. Texas and Kansas State went blow for blow in Austin, only to see the Longhorns escape in double overtime. And Texas Tech did to Kansas what everyone (except Gallagher) saw coming. This week is full of intriguing matchups that possibly could go either way.

No. 6 TCU at Kansas State

Gallagher- Tricky, tricky game to pick. TCU might be for real, but there isn’t a harder place to play a football game in the Big 12 than Manhattan, Kansas. Throw in an 11 a.m. start time, and this game could be disastrous for a TCU team with playoff aspirations. 33-28 KSU

Matt- You’d like to think KState will win a big game this year but that remains to be seen. An upset wouldn’t surprise me but I will go with the Frogs. 35-28 TCU

No. 24 Texas Tech at West Virginia

Gallagher- Another tricky game in the conference. West Virginia has played well in every game this year, including two losses to Virginia Tech and TCU. I think playing at home will give WVU the advantage it needs against a solid Tech team. 37-34 WVU

Matt- Hard to win in Morgantown but I don’t think the Mountaineers have much of a defense. Got to go with the O. 56-45 TTU

Baylor at No. 14 Oklahoma State

Gallagher- Baylor is the only Big 12 team Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph does not have a win against. I would hope that changes against winless Baylor. 55-27 OSU

Matt- Both teams are coming off of bye weeks with the Cowboys having more at stake than the Bears. It’s mullet time in Stillwater. 52-35 OSU

Kansas at Iowa State

Gallagher- I would not be that surprised if Iowa State follows up its program-defining win over Oklahoma with a loss to Kansas. But I’ve picked Kansas three times this year (I deserve to be losing) and I was wrong every time. 27-14 Iowa State

Matt- Will the real Iowa State football team please stand up?! Presuming it is the one that beat Oklahoma they should win. That said, I can’t imagine picking Kansas against the remainder of the season. 31-17 Iowa State

No. 12 Oklahoma vs. Texas (Cotton Bowl Stadium)

Gallagher- I don’t know what Oklahoma’s all-time record is in games after a loss, but I imagine it’s pretty good. 44-31 OU

Matt- How did Oklahoma beat Ohio State? As much as I’d like to pick another upset I just don’t think I can do it this week. Hopefully OU won’t disappoint again!31-27 OU
