The Second Annual Hutch Brewfest is a celebration of craft breweries and their beers. The event includes unique brews, live entertainment, and a mix of culinary treats.
1 to 6 p.m. Oct. 14 in Downtown Hutchinson.
Who will be there
Three Rings Brewery of McPherson will showcase several of their seasonal beers, including Witch Hunt Oktoberfest, Wanderlust Scottish Red, Vertigo IPA and Thesis II, a barrel-aged, smoked imperial stout.
According to Three Rings Brewery’s co-owner Ian Smith, attending craft beer festivals boosts visibility for the small businesses.
“It shows new people that we’re around, on top of getting to showcase new stuff that we have,” Smith said.
The event will also feature 14 other breweries like Goose Island Beer Co., Tallgrass Brewing Co., Walnut River Brewing Company and Salt City Brewing Company.
Food vendors include R-B Drive In, The Traveling Bowl and Pronto Pup.
Pre-event ticket prices for general admission are $30, and general admission no alcohol tickets are $7. VIP tickets are $60 and include early admission, special patio access at the Reno County Museum, a stainless steel insulated cup and an exclusive beer sampling. Prices will increase the day of the event.
A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Reno County Toy Run.
Tickets will be available for pickup at The Hutchinson News, 300 W. 2nd Ave. in Hutchinson, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Oct. 10 through 13.
