Dallas Reagan Unruh, 35, of Mulvane and formerly of McPherson, passed away on Nov. 3, 2017, at his home in Mulvane. He was working as a chef at Twelve Restaurant in Wichita and previously at Ember Grille & Wine Bar in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Dallas was born on June 17, 1982, in McPherson, the son of Daryl Reed and Billie Jaye (Leonard) Unruh. He graduated from McPherson High School in 2000.

Survivors include: parents, Daryl and Billie Unruh of McPherson; brothers, Dustin (Randie) Unruh of Lumberton, Texas and Dillon (Lakyn) Unruh of Gardner; aunts and uncles, Dawn Wilkey of Overland Park, David Unruh of Sacramento, California, Darwin (Desiree) Unruh of Fannett, Texas, and Donna (Dale) Nolen of Silsbee, Texas; one nephew; two nieces; and several great-aunts and great-uncles and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, William “Bill” and Dellabelle Leonard and Donald and Maxine Unruh.

The visitation is scheduled from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Stockham Family Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8 at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Neil Engle officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Township Cemetery in Moundridge.
