The 2017 AVCTL Division III/IV All League soccer selections were dominated by members of the McPherson High School soccer team.

In total, 11 Bullpups were named to postseason teams — five on the first team, three on the second team, and three honorable mentions — including senior Darrius Armstrong, who was named the league’s Most Valuable Player. McPherson head coach Chris Adrian was also the league’s Coach of the Year.

Armstrong was a first-team forward, while sophomores Britton Haigh and Drew Schrader were first-team midfielders; senior Devin Cape and sophomore Trenton Stecklien made the first team as defenders.

Senior Connor Williams and sophomore Jael Jaime were tabbed as second-team forwards, and sophomore Nathan Lloyd made the second team as a goalkeeper. Sophomores Tyler Hoxie and Samie Jaime were named honorable mention midfielders.

The McPherson High soccer team finished with a 15-6-0 record and third place at state.
