Charlotte Ann Christensen, 79, of McPherson passed away at 6:50 p.m. Nov. 6, 2017 peacefully, at Cedars House.

Charlotte was born in McPherson on July 18, 1938, a daughter of Mabel Elizabeth (Borgstrom) and Andrew Elton Alexander.

Charlotte attended Washington grade school, McPherson Junior High and graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson, in 1956. She then attended Central College, McPherson.

She was a member of Countryside Covenant Church, where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class.

Charlotte was a homemaker and through the years she worked for Farm Land Industries, was the office manager and secretary for Roosevelt Elementary School for 21 years all of McPherson. She retired in 1996 due to failing health.

Charlotte was a member of the Pylette club, and Kpers. Charlotte enjoyed her family and especially her grandchildren. She like reading, sewing, playing cards, arts and crafts, cooking, and loved her animals.

Charlotte Ann Alexander was united in marriage to Leo Ray Christensen on June 16, 1957 at the First Christian Church, McPherson.

She is survived by her children daughter Rhonda (Gary) Warner, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sons Mark Christensen, of Norton; Scott (Karen) Christensen, of Norton; sister Sharon Alexander, of Bushell, Florida; sister-in-law Mary Alexander, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; two grandchildren Carrah Christensen and Merissa Christensen; three step-grandchildren Bryant Warner (Danielle), Ben Warner (Astrid) and Matt Warner; three step-great-grandchildren Ceairrah Warner, Gary Warner and Salvador Warner.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew E. and Mabel Elizabeth (Borgstrom) Alexander; her husband Ray Christensen; a brother Roger Alexander; and sister Jeanne Young.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to service time at Countryside Covenant Church, McPherson.

Funeral service will be held at Countryside Covenant Church, McPherson, Kansas, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18 with the Rev. Jon Black officiating.

Final resting place will be McPherson Cemetery, McPherson.
