The Live Wires-Empire Best 4-H club held its November meeting at the Galva Community Room on Nov. 12. The meeting was called to order by President Cash Toews. Twelve members, five leaders and three guests were present at the meeting.

Nov. 19 has been selected for 4-H Sunday and the club will meet at the New Hope church at 10:30 a.m.

Dec. 10 will be the Caroling party starting at Canton at 5:30 p.m. and finishing up in Galva then with the monthly meeting to follow. The Smiths are looking into a leather gift for the homes visited.

Multi-County 4-H Club Day will by Feb. 17, 2018 and community leader Tina McMannis informed the club of the types of categories for the day.

Faith McMannis gave a talk on “How to get your horse ready for show”. Katy Prieb lead the club in a game.

Announcements were then read and meeting was adjourned by repeating the club’s motto, “To Make the Best Better.”

Host family for the meeting was the McMannis’s.
