CANTON — Mitchell Ray “Mike” Likins Sr., 66 of Canton, died Nov. 16, 2017 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson. He was a machinist/grinder and was formerly employed by Wear Tech, ICS and Hospira, all of McPherson.

He was born Dec. 2, 1950 in McPherson, the son of Glenn and Dorothy (Burch) Likins. He graduated from Canton High School with the class of 1968 and attended the Canton Christian Church.

On Aug. 2, 1968, he married Patricia Ann Cravens in Canton and she preceded him in death on Nov. 28, 1991. He later married Patti Harp on Jan. 2, 1993 in Canton and she survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Adrianna (Justin) White of Canton; a son, Justin (Jana) Likins, McPherson; brothers, Glennon Eugene of the Phillipines, James, Hutchinson, Bob (Molly), Hutchinson and Tom of the Dominican Republic; a sister, Connie (Jim) Newberry of Arkansas and four grandchildren, Jada Ward, Haylee (RodRick) Seeber, Emily White and Gavin Likins.

A daughter, Phoebe Ann and a son, Mitchell Ray “Little Mike” Jr. preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Jerry.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at Olson’s Mortuary, Canton with the Rev. Bill McCary presiding. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Mitchell Ray Likins Memorial Fund, in care of the Mortuary.
