The Canton Dizzy Dames Family and Community Education Unit met Nov. 6 at the home of Linda Hess in Marion.
Roll call was answered by “what is your favorite salad dressing?”
The lesson, “What’s in your Jar?” was given. It addresses the latest trend of packing fresh salads in a wide-mouthed jar. This makes for a colorful addition to lunch or a picnic and contents will stay fresh if packed in the right order. First put a small amount of dressing at the bottom of the jar, add chunky vegetables and top with leafy greens.
The next FCE meeting will be the Christmas bingo night and holiday meal at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at Adele Koehn’s home. Bingo prizes will be white elephant gifts brought by each participant.
