EMPORIA — More than 500 students are candidates for degrees during winter commencement at Emporia State University on Dec. 16. Undergraduates will receive their degrees during baccalaureate ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. at White Auditorium, 111 E. Sixth Ave. At 2 p.m., graduate students will be hooded at Albert Taylor Hall in Plumb Hall on the Emporia State campus.

Kaitlyn Denee Bressie of Galva, with a education specialist degree in school psychology
Megan Alice James of McPherson, with a bachelor of science degree in health promotion with a minor in modern language and a concentration in Spanish
Tevin Lee Renken of Little River, summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in biology with concentrations in pre-dental and general biology
