The Montior Family and Community Education unit met Nov. 20 at The Cedars Down Under room. Five members attended.
The members enjoyed a pizza supper, which included foods mentioned in the lesson “Funky Foods.” The table centerpiece also included more funky foods and made for a very colorful addition to the meal.
After the supper, the group planned lessons for 2018.
Jodene Fisher, president, opened the meeting with the Kansas FCE creed.
The Monitor FCE unit won second place for leadership, and third place for education, at the NAFCE meeting in Omaha, Nebraska.
The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 15 at Mary Ellen Howell’s home.
