The McPherson Opera House will be screening the classic Irving Berlin Christmas film, “White Christmas” at 3 p.m. Dec. 23. Admission is free.

The event is sponsored by long-time Opera House supporter and lifetime member, Sue Zerger.

“We thought offering this movie event would be a nice way for the opera house to thank the McPherson County communities for its support throughout the year,” said Diane Fallis, McPherson Opera House Business Director, “and we’re grateful to Sue for helping us make it happen.”

Fallis adds, “This is the last event of 2017 at the opera house and the last chance for our guests to see the magnificently decorated theatre. A special thanks to The Stone Chimney for donating the Christmas decorations throughout the building, and for the time and effort of its staff for their design and installation work. They make it so beautiful for us and our visitors.”

Tickets are not required to attend the film. Seating is open. Doors will open at 2 p.m.
