Florence Aline (Esser) Hull, 93, formerly of Manhattan, Kansas, passed away Jan. 19, 2018, at Baptist Health Center in Corbin, Kentucky. She and her husband, Roy, were long-time owners of Hull Business Machines in Aggieville and residents of Manhattan, Kansas.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 24 at the First United Methodist Church in Manhattan with the Rev. Melanie Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Cemetery, Manhattan. The family will receive friends at the visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home.
Florence was born in Deer Creek, Oklahoma, on June 30, 1924, the daughter of Vesta Fern (Dobbs) and Bud Milton Esser. She graduated from McPherson High School in McPherson, and Wichita Business College. She was a well-regarded legal secretary in Wichita.
On June 7, 1946, she married Roy Dow Hull, at First Methodist Church in McPherson.
Florence is survived by four daughters: Marva (Robert) Nelson, Katy, Texas; Donna (Scott) Goltry of Madison, Nebraska; Cindy (Roger) Berquist, of Bloomington, Minnestoa; Stephanie (Tracy) Schumann, of Williamsburg, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter Jennifer Nelson, her sisters Marjorie Enochs and Norma Vasholtz Dillon and niece Jaclynn Enochs.
