Richard Jerome Aichele, 71, of McPherson, passed away at 8 a.m., Jan. 23, 2018 unexpectedly, at his home.
Richard was born in Bismarck, North Dakota on Jan. 30, 1946, a son of Elaine (Fjermestad) and Adam Aichele.
Richard attended the Richmond schools, Richmond, California.
Through the years, Richard owned and operated Ace Auto in California, worked for Waner Automotive in McPherson, and was currently working for Central Plastics in Fabrication.
Richard enjoyed family, his grandkids, watching sports, going to casinos, and life.
He is survived by his children, Harmony Burton and her husband Aaron, of McPherson, Elizabeth Munoz and her husband Aaron, of Ellsworth, John Aichele and his wife Katy, of McPherson, and Luke Aichele and his wife Chelsea, of McPherson; his siblings, Chester Aichele, of Oroville, California, Jimmy Aichele, of Vallejo, California, Frank Aichele and his wife Bree, of Oroville, California; his 10 grandchildren, Bryce, Destiny, Amelia, Gentry, Ace, Lacey, HevynLei, Case, Arian, and Jesse; his two great-grandchildren, Kage and LaKota; sister-in-laws, Sarah Aichele of Oroville, Carla Aichele, Vacaville, California other relatives and a host of friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Elaine Aichele and his brothers, Gary, Harold, Larry, and George Aichele.
A time of remembrance and opportunity to visit with the family will be held at New Hope Evangelical Church, McPherson, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30.
Burial will be held at the McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, at a later date.
