Sherry E. Springirth, 73, passed at her home with her family by her side on Jan. 28, 2018. Sherry was born Jan. 18, 1945 in Langley Field, Virginia to Thomas L. and Emma E. (Tobery) Tyeryar. Sherry was an avid Redskins fan who loved living on the farm. She also enjoyed her chickens, gardening, crocheting and had a fondness for chocolate ice cream.

Sherry is survived by her daughters; Sherry (Jeff) Jerome and Terry Horne both of McPherson, Wendy (Reggie) Robinson of North Carolina; her god-daughter Margaret Lininger; sister JoAnne Lininger, Terry Kennedy and Jerry Kennedy of Maryland; grandchildren Jessica, Amanda, Jered, Tylea and Reggie Jr. and nine great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents and sister Sandra Foland and step brother Wayne Kennedy.

Visitation for Sherry will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm in Marion, with the funeral service to be held on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. also at the funeral home.
