Who:

McPherson Public Library

What:

Shannon Brake, Marketing and Communications Manager for the McPherson Public Library, will moderate “Success Stories Career Panel,” a panel discussion centered on local business women. The discussion will highlight the unique career paths they have taken to achieve success. Panel members include Anne Kirchner, Lanae Powell, Ann Engel and Jennifer Bonham.

Why:

"By now, most companies know that supporting women employees and fostering equality is not only the right thing to do, but it will lead to greater success for everyone involved. But, many women are often faced with distinct challenges, and a career path that is not always a straight shot to the top. By sharing their stories of career success, the four women on the Success Stores panel will encourage others to capitalize on their resources and recognize their invaluable contributions to today's work environment. Success Stories is for anyone, both women and men, interested in learning more about supporting successful workplace environments.” — Shannon Brake, Marketing and Communications Manager for the McPherson Public Library.
