Tara Almquist, Aaron Carlson, and Chloe Jones, seniors from McPherson High School, have signed letters of intent to participate in the McPherson College Band. Almquist is the daughter of Darren and Kim Almquist and plays the clarinet; Carlson is the son of Kevin and Roxanna Carlson and plays the trumpet; and Jones is the daughter of Stephanie Smith and plays the flute.

Kyle Hopkins, director of McPherson College bands, stated, “Our McPherson College Band program is now being recognized as one of the biggest and best bands among any small private Kansas college and our area students continue to be a critical catalyst in our tremendous growth and success.”
