WICHITA — McPherson College seniors Ahmed Lahlou and Hector Carrillo Perales  headline the 2018 Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Preseason Men’s Tennis Team.

Lahlou repeated as an All-KCAC first-teamer after earning second team honors as a freshman. He won the 2016 Wheat State Invitational en route to a 15-4 mark in singles that included a 7-3 mark at the No. 2 spot and a perfect 7-0 mark in KCAC duals. Lahlou also went 12-3 in doubles with partner Nicolas Wahl.

Carrillo picked up his first First Team All-KCAC honor last season in addition to a second ITA All-America honor in doubles. He paired with Joan-Marc Fajula Rodriguez to go 15-7 with an ITA regional title and a sixth-place finish in the NAIA doubles competition at the ITA Oracle Cup in fall of 2016. Carrillo also won his lone doubles match with Paul Weidinger as a partner and posted a team-best 19-5 mark in singles, primarily at the No. 2 and No.3 spots. He also won the No. 1 flight singles title at the KCAC individual championships in the fall.
