The Blackwood Quartet is uniquely positioned to present the Gospel music Elvis loved best. Elvis, in fact, wanted to sing with the Blackwoods, but Sun Records signed him to a contract and the rest, as they say, is history.
The Blackwoods sang at Elvis's mother's funeral and at Elvis's funeral itself. If you love the best in Gospel music and hold the memory of Elvis dear, you won't want to miss this performance.
Today, the Blackwood Quartet tours regularly and brings the word of Christ through song, to both believers and non-believers alike. The Quartet has had the privilege of performing with Willie Nelson and many other great artists. Recently, they have seen their popularity grow among Elvis tribute artist fans, as well.
