The Monitor Family and Community Education Unit met Feb. 19 at the home of Mary Unruh. Six members and one guest were present.
Unruh gave the lesson “Alzheimer’s 101.” This lesson focuses on understanding Alzheimer’s, warning signs, benefits of early detection and steps to better your overall brain. Researchers have named Alzheimer’s the biggest health crisis facing the world today.
President Jodene Fisher opened the business meeting. Members chose “smoothies” for their “Emphasis of Work” for 2018. The next meeting will be decided at a later date.
