LINDSBORG – The men's basketball team has added triplets Bryce, Bryant, and Braylen Young to their 2018-19 recruiting class. The brothers come to Bethany from Fort Worth, Texas and are the only set of male triplets currently to play college basketball for the same team. They attend Central Keller High School are the children of Jeff and Cynthia Young.
Bryce played four years of basketball as a guard for Keller. He was named Academic All-District during his time at Central. While at Bethany, he plans to major in Sports Management and he currently holds a 3.89 GPA.
Bryant played four years of basketball in high school as a guard and forward while being an All-District Selection. He was nominated for DFW Player of the Week and ranked by Texas Hoops Rivals #123 in the state of Texas. He currently has a 3.54 GPA and plans to major in Athletic Training while at Bethany.
Braylen played four years of basketball as a shooting guard at Central where he was the Impact Player of the Year for the 2016-17 season. He was named to the All-Tournament team at the Georgetown Tournament and at the Byron Nelson Tournament. Other accolades include an All-District selection and nominated player of the week. Braylen is ranked by Texas Rivals #119, Hoops DFW #42, and #46 by Hoop DFW Advocate in the state of Texas. He holds a 3.54 GPA and is planning to major in Sports Education while at Bethany.
