LINDSBORG — Lindsborg Police Chief, Tim Berggren, said two people were arrested in connection with the burglary of multiple storage units at The Autowash and Storage Compound, located at 402 N. Harrison St. in Lindsborg.

“We did investigate several storage units that were broken into,” Berggren said.

It was reported to police that padlocks were cut off. Items were stolen from inside the storage unit, which were then locked back with new padlocks. Just two days after the burglaries were reported, Lindsborg police arrested two individuals suspected of the crimes.

“One of the (Lindsborg) officers made a contact with a subject and observed stolen property in their possession; they subsequently made the arrest,” Berggren said.

Lindsborg residents are urged to check their storage units to ensure their property is still in place. If you find you have been a victim of a burglary, contact the Lindsborg Public Safety office at 785-227-2988.
