Monitor FCE unit met on June 18 at the home of Rhonda Towes-Moore. Six members were in attendance with one guest, Jane Towes.
Jolene Fisher, president, opened the meeting by asking the group to repeat the Kansas FCE creed. Roll call was answered with a favorite ingredient in a smoothie.
Towes-Moore gave the lesson “Make your Day a Little Smoother” about experimenting with a variety of fruits, vegetables and supplement powers to make smoothies.
Fisher reported on an article from KAFE News about Geneva Wedel who was chosen the south central area “Heart of FCE” for 2017.
The next meeting time will be at 7 p.m. on Sept. 17, in Cedars North Down Under Room.
