Ruby Martha Becker, 98, died Sept. 28, 2018. She was born August 8, 1920, to Herman

and Katie Androes Heidebrecht at Nowata, Okla. Ruby was a 1939 graduate of Inman Rural High

School. She married Pete Becker on April 25, 1946. They were married almost 50 years. She worked at and owned Inman Produce, then worked at Klassen’s Grocery Store and at the USD No. 448 Office. 

She and her husband owned Becker Mobil Service in Inman for 33 years.

 She was an active member of the Inman Mennonite Church.

Survivors include: her daughters, Reva (Sam) Keister, McPherson, Marsha (Ron) Fenwick,

Buhler; grandchildren, Cris Dooley, Cindy Tegeler, Trisha Fenwick, Brad Fenwick, Corey (Abbey) Fenwick; great-grandchildren, Tanner and Addi Dooley, Max and Maddie Tegeler, Jordan Fenwick; brothers, Leo (Martha) and Hank (Ann) Heidebrecht; sisters, Dorothy Rockey and Erna Dings; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruby was preceded in death by: her husband, Pete; brothers, Marvin, Alva, and Harvey Heidebrecht; and sister, Esther Dickinson.

Friends may visit from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, at Buhler Mortuary. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Inman Mennonite Church. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the North Inman Cemetery on Tuesday, at 9:30 a.m. 

Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the Inman Mennonite Church. Memorials may be made to Inman Mennonite Church or Pleasant View Home, in care of Buhler Mortuary.
