First Congressional District Candidate Marck Cobb recently finished a book, called “Uncommon Sense,” which he hopes will let readers know more about him and his political philosophy.
“I decided it was time to leave a few words of wisdom for the benefit of my son primarily,” Cobb said. “But, it also coincides with my campaign. It speaks to the Kansas values I’ve been raised on.”
Cobb will hold a book signing on May 15, at The Bookshelf. The book is currently on sale at The Bookshelf, as well as The Well and the McPherson Museum store.
“I think it speaks to the approach I would take as a representative, because it speaks about integrity, spiritual values, education and influences from people not only here, but from around the world,” Cobb said.
Cobb’s book is available at The Bookshelf, The Well and the McPherson Museum and Arts Foundation as well at the Hemslojd and the Swedish Crafts, both in Lindsborg. He will be holding a book signing at The Bookshelf from 10 a.m. to noon May 15. Cobb is also doing a radio interview that will be released on All Schools Day, May 14.
