Area Record Highlights Jan. 13

HIGHLIGHTS
McPherson police
An officer responded at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday to a report of the railroad crossing arms being down and school buses unable to get through near Avenue A and Maxwell. Maintenance was being done and traffic was able to get through.

Sheriff
A deputy responded at 8:32 p.m. Wednesday to southwest of U.S. Highway 56 and Seventh Avenue for a possible distressed aircraft. The deputy found nothing, and the FAA advised there was no aircraft in the area.

MOUNDRIDGE - An officer responded at 10:03 p.m. Wednesday to the 400 block of North Wedel and took a report of stolen Christmas lights.
