Area Record Highlights Jan. 10

HIGHLIGHTS
McPherson police
Officers responded to McPherson Hospital at 8:31 p.m. Friday for a possible battery that occurred in the 600 block of North Elm. Officers later arrested a 23-year-old McPherson man on a charge of domestic battery of a 28-year-old female. He was booked and later released on $296 bond.

Officers responded to the 500 block of West Kansas Avenue at 8:31 a.m. Saturday and took a report of burglary and criminal damage to property. Amount of loss has not been determined, but it will be well in excess of $1,000.

Sheriff
A deputy responded to an accident near Cheyenne Road and 27th Avenue at 11:20 p.m. Friday. A vehicle driven by 46-year-old Tony Schlicht of Roxbury struck a deer.

INMAN - An officer took a report of criminal damage to property in the 500 block of Harvest Hills Drive at 2:38 p.m. Friday.

MOUNDRIDGE - Firefighters responded to a structure fire at 2:53 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of 29th Avenue.
