McPherson police
An officer took a report at 1:39 p.m. Tuesday of a battery that occurred Jan. 18. A 44-year-old woman reported being beaten by two female suspects in the 1100 block of Bridger Court.
Sheriff
Deputies responded at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday to an accident involving a vehicle driven by a 60-year-old man near 18th Avenue and U.S. Highway 56. He was arrested on a charge of DUI, booked and later released on $500 bond.
Fire
Firefighters responded at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday to an automatic alarm in the 500 block of North Ash. The alarm was false.
Area
LINDSBORG - Officers responded at 12:51 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a smoke odor at Main and McPherson. Everything was OK.
