HIGHLIGHTS
McPherson police
Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of West Kansas Avenue at 3:45 p.m. Thursday. A 58-year-old Waverly man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession drug paraphernalia. He was booked and held in lieu of $3,500 bond.
Sheriff
A deputy took a report at 11:04 a.m. Thursday of burglary, criminal damage to property and misdemeanor theft at 17th Avenue and Limestone Road. Someone broke into a recreational vehicle. Loss was estimated at $880.
Fire
Firefighters responded to the 700 block of Thunderbird at 10:52 p.m. Thursday for a carbon monoxide check. They found a faulty detector.

LINDSBORG - An officer responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of North McKinley at 8:21 a.m. Thursday. A subject was transported to Lindsborg Community Hospital and then released to home.
