Hannah Snyder is a bridal consultant and store manager at Kari Lynn’s Bridal and Prom in McPherson. She assists brides in selecting, trying on, and fitting dresses, as well as various other duties such as organizing, scheduling, and cleaning. Hannah does some opening cleaning of the store such as vacuuming, wiping mirrors, checking voice messages, and making task lists for the day. Often this includes steaming dresses.

Hannah makes and takes phone calls, places and checks orders and shipments, and keeps customers informed of the whereabouts of their purchases. This includes this includes both bride and groom orders.
1 p.m.
Late morning and early afternoon are the typical times for brides to enter the store for fittings or other needs. She keeps track of what they tried on and helps them stay within their budget. Hannah and the other consultants get to know many of the brides on a personal level and enjoy that experience. When she has some spare time, Hannah might dye shoes, which is dress-matching art that many shops no longer offer.

During the spring, this is a busy time for men’s prom tuxes to be checked in and out. The summer months typically bring in more grooms and groomsmen to be fitted.

This is the average closing time at the store. However, Hannah and the other consultants stay to help customers as long as they need. Once the door is locked, Hannah ensures that the floors, mirrors, dresses and other parts of the store are picked up and looking tidy.
