McPherson Parks and Recreation will be spraying for mosquitoes tonight (Thursday, May 21). They will start around 9 p.m. on the outskirts of the city and in less populated areas. The chemical being used is very mild and will not cause any harm to people or animals. It can travel up to 300 feet, so homeowners might want to consider shutting windows in their homes.
