HIGHLIGHTS
McPherson police
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1300 block of North Elm at 8:28 a.m. Sunday. They transported a 34-year-old man to McPherson Hospital and took an information report of protective custody.

Officers checked the welfare in the 800 block of East Kansas Avenue at 11:36 p.m. Monday. They found an 82-year-old man with dementia who had been reported as missing from Wichita. The man’s family came to McPherson and took him home.

Sheriff
Deputies responded to a runaway in the 2100 block of 17th Avenue at 10:21 p.m. Sunday. A 16-year-old male was located and turned over to juvenile intake.

Fire
Firefighters, EMS personnel and officers responded to a structure fire in the 200 block of South Elm at 9:57 p.m. Monday. The fire was caused by a dirty chimney.

Kansas Highway Patrol
A trooper, along with officers, firefighters and EMS personnel from Lindsborg, responded to a one-vehicle accident near Kansas Highway 4 and 12th Avenue at 4:08 p.m. Monday.

Area
LINDSBORG - Officers checked a vehicle at Old Mill Park at 9:53 p.m. Sunday. Everything was OK.

INMAN - At 6:37 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a stump fire in the 300 block of First Avenue.
