SALINA- Marvin C. Smith, 76, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010.
He was a cement contractor.
He served in the U.S. Army paratrooper division from 1953-55 and was a Korean War Veteran.
Survivors include: his daughters Krista (Richard) George of Galva and Marsha Crenshaw of Bel Aire; grandchildren Austin, Sarah, Sunny, Meaghan, Mariah and Jeffrey; sisters Clena Boileau of Salina and Claudine (Hugh) Emrich of Manhattan; brother Donoljoe (Jackie) Smith of Salina; sister-in-law Wanda Smith of Tribune; and aunt Annabelle Wall of Lincoln.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Salina. Memorials may be designated to the Marvin Smith Memorial Fund in care of Baker Funeral Home, P.O. Box 242, Valley Center, KS 67147.
