Central Christain College will present the classic, MacBeth, wth a twist.
MacBeth is the story of a man who is given a vision of the future by three spirits and then is pushed into killing of his wife to make that vision come true. Through paranoia and fear MacBeth goes on a killing spree and ultimately sets the world out to get him. There is magic, combat, and beauty in this story. We have also taken some creative liberties and moved the weird sisters (spirits) from their traditional four scenes to almost every scene, making them the puppet masters that shape move the plot along. There are times when they even step in and play some of the smaller roles to help guide the action. It is a twisted and gripping tale.
The college will hold three showings of the production- Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The show will start at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in Greer Auditorium located in Central Christain College’s Wesley Black Fine Arts Center.
