Robert D. “Bob” Unruh, 76, died Feb. 4, 2010 at the Mercy Hospital. He was born July 31, 1933 at Galva to Gilmore and Katie Koehn Unruh. He was a former Hesston Corp. (AGCO) employee. He married Nadine M. Becker on Nov. 30, 1952 at Galva.
Survivors include: his wife, Nadine; two sons, Jimmy Unruh and Russell Unruh, both of Galva; three daughters, Nevelyn Mastre, Del Norte, Colorado, Nancy Unruh, Halstead, and Jennifer Koehn, Galva; mother, Katie Unruh, Moundridge; three sisters, LaWanda Koehn, Moundridge, JoAnn Koehn, Monte Vista, Colo., and Twila Zeiset, Grant, Alabama; two brothers, Vernon and Norman Unruh, both of Moundridge; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Gospel Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Moundridge. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Gospel Church with the family present from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Church Cemetery, Galva. Memorial donations may be given to Mercy Hospital or Good Shepherd Hospice, both in care of the funeral home.
