Belva Marilyn Freund, 75, died Sunday, May 10, 2009,  at The Cedars House in McPherson.
Belva was a homemaker and worked as a clerk for Pyle Construction Co. for a few years prior to working as a secretary and bookkeeper for Kit Manufacturer of McPherson. She also worked for USD 418, McPherson.
Survivors include: her husband, Edgar "Eddie" Freund, of McPherson; her children, Robert Freund of Houston, Texas, Teresa Freund of El Dorado, Jeanne Kay Lutz of Denver, Colo., and Randy Freund of San Diego, Calif.; her brother, Wayne Brayton of Glasco; sister, Judy Jefferys of Denver, Colorado; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Friends are invited to call for a time of sharing on Saturday, June 20, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, McPherson.
Rosary service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, McPherson prior to the Mass.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, McPherson, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, with Fr. David Lies officiating.
Graveside services and burial of cremains will take place at the Bean Cemetery Little River.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church and they can be sent in care of the Glidden - Ediger Funeral Home; 222 W. Euclid St.; McPherson, KS 67460.
