George "Paul" Eaton, 85, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at Cedars House, McPherson.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII
He was a Professional Truck Driver for Continental Aluminum, and later retired as a truck driver for Certainteed Corporation, McPherson.
Survivors include: his wife, LaVonne of the home; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Verlin and Julia Campbell of McPherson; niece, Justina Kay Campbell of Topeka;  nephew, Laurie D. Campbell of McPherson; and other extended family members.
Friends are invited to call Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, from 2 p.m.to 4 p.m. at Glidden - Ediger Funeral Home, with the family present.
Graveside Service at McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, KS, at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, with Dr. John Gran, Sr. officiating.
Military rites will be performed by members of the American Legion Post 24 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2715, both of McPherson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McPherson County Humane Society McPherson, KS  or First Christian Church or Hospice Care of Kansas.
