GALVA- VeraLynn Goering, 83, died Jan. 30, 2010, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus, Wichita. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Ernie (Florene) Goering, Galva; a sister, Shirley (Mervin) Schrag, Hesston and four grandchildren. Committal service will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Hopefield Mennonite Church Cemetery, Moundridge followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. at the Garden Community Church, Moundridge. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Moundridge Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be given to Gideon’s International, in care of the funeral home.
