I awoke this morning to the sound of what I thought was a chainsaw. When I looked out the window, a tall man dressed in winter clothes was clearing the snow off of the sidewalk on the east side of Maxwell. He then proceeded to clean off my slippery driveway. I quickly opened the overhead garage door, and when he came toward me I stopped him to thank him and ask his name. It was Robert Potts, who lives on Eastmoor Drive. There are sarmatian-type folks even dressed in winter clothes. What a kind gesture, by a man I had never seen before.
