Optimists Club at Washington Elementary

McPherson Optimists Club members served hotdogs and potato chips to Washington Elementary School students during lunch Friday. "We decided we'd like to feed the kids one day. The Optimist Club serves youth and one of the best ways we can do that is to serve them lunch," said Optimist President Doug Curtright. "We're trying to get out and do something aside from writing checks." Curtright added the club cooked roughly 300 hot dogs for the students.
