McPherson College sophomore centerfielder Chelsea Conrad (Ione, California, Argonaut High School) has been named the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week for the week of April 10-16, the conference office announced Monday.

Conrad was 13-for-18 with a double, three triples and five RBIs last week as McPherson went 4-2. The Bulldogs are 22-19 overall through April 14, tying a program mark for victories in a season. She had three hits, a double and two runs scored in game one of Tuesday's doubleheader against Sterling.

Conrad was also 4-for-4 with a triple, three runs scored and four RBIs in McPherson's 15-7, five-inning win over Southwestern. She posted a triple in three consecutive games during the week — both halves of the April 13 doubleheader at Ottawa and in game one of the April 14 doubleheader against Southwestern.

Ottawa University senior pitcher Molli Morgan was named the KCAC Pitcher of the Week. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from April 10-16 by a vote of conference sports information directors.
